Jira Data Center
Jira Data Center is built for enterprises with more than 500 Jira users. It's a solution we recommend for teams working on complex projects that require high scalability, flexible deployment options, and solid security. Data Center is an on-premise hosting solution, available on your own hardware or through IaaS clients such as AWS or Azure.
Jira Server
Jira Server, a solution with on-premise hosting, will be still available, although not supported since February 2024. Until this time, you can enjoy the benefits of this solution. Jira Server will meet even the most demanding data hosting and localization requirements.

Atlassian recently announced that as of February 2, 2021, it will no longer sell new Server licenses.
