What will you work on as a Quality Assurance Specialist?
- Unit Applications Development is working on creating, developing, and maintaining custom projects for our clients from all over the world, specializing in mobile and web applications. We are currently looking for another person who will have the opportunity to work on various projects – including in e-commerce, insurance, media, finance, and other industries.
Who will you work with?
- You will join a testing team where we currently have 3 manual testers. We focus on a good atmosphere and knowledge exchange within the team. The team works on projects for clients from very diverse areas: finance/medicine/media/sales/public sector. In some cases, projects turn into support tasks.
- The team works in a project mode, mostly in agile methodologies. The team composition for subsequent projects is selected based on: competencies/interests/internal recommendations.
What tasks await you in this role?
- close cooperation with the development team and the client;
- creating, conducting, and maintaining manual tests;
- creating and analyzing test errors;
- creating test cases based on documentation and other system specification elements.
You are the one we’re looking for, if:
you have the following skills:
- minimum 3 years of experience as a software tester – mandatory requirement;
- experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications;
- experience with SoapUI;
- ability to perform manual tests (functional, regression, exploratory);
- ability to analyze business requirements and technical documentation;
- familiarity with bug reporting and re-testing processes;
- ISTQB certification;
- knowledge of JIRA and Confluence tools;
- knowledge of Postman and Swagger tools;
- nice to have: experience with version control systems and CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Bamboo); experience with test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Selenium); ability to analyze logs and basic knowledge of SQL; experience in usability and accessibility testing; experience in security and performance testing.
