Assets

Learn how to display Assets in Request actions and Workflow actions.

Warning

Adding and configuring the Assets is possible only with an active Jira Service Management Premium Plan and an established connection with Assets API.

You can use the Actions for Jira Service Management app and the Assets in Jira Service Management tool. This compatibility allows you to include the Assets custom field in Request and Workflow actions. With this solution, your team can efficiently manage various assets and include them in request forms on the Customer Portal.

To use the Actions for JSM app and the Assets in Jira Service Management tool, follow the below steps:

Steps

  1. Ensure you have the Jira Service Management Premium Plan.
  2. Set up and configure the Assets custom field following Atlassian documentation.
  3. Connect to Assets API.
  4. Add the Assets custom field to your Request and/or Workflow actions the same way other fields are added. Follow the linked guides for detailed instructions.
