API Permissions

Learn how to set API permissions necessary to use Azure AD Attributes for Jira

The following API permissions are necessary for Azure AD Attributes for Jira to communicate with Azure Active Directory (AD):

User.Read (Delegated permission)
Directory.Read.All (Application permission)

Steps

To configure API permissions for Azure AD Attributes for Jira:

Go to Azure Active Directory > App registrations > Azure AD Attributes for Jira > API Permissions to see available permissions.

If you have already set User.Read.All permission, skip to the Connecting with Microsoft Azure AD section.
Click Add a permission.

Select Delegated permissions.

In the User section, check the box next to User.Read.All permission.
Click Add permissions.

Result

Permission is added and Azure AD Attributes for Jira can now communicate with Azure AD.
