Actions are part of the rule configuration process and are applied to fields and their behavior. You can apply the following rules:
You can use some actions with fields that are set as required or hidden in native Jira. See Can I combine native Jira required and hidden fields with Dynamic Forms actions? for details.
For each action, you can add conditions that define when the rule applies. The rule is only applied when these conditions are met. They involve both fields and user permissions. Operators are adjusted to each condition type.
When you use a Cascading Select field as a condition, you can match on the parent option alone or on both the parent and its suboption.
For example, if your Cascading Select field has Region as the parent and Country as the suboption:
The condition only applies when the field has a value - if the field is empty, the rule will not trigger.
