Bundled Fields

The Bundled Fields feature lets you group multiple fields into a single custom field. This way, you avoid configuring numerous individual fields and can create the entire form at once.

Configure Bundled Fields

Steps

1. Navigate to Apps > Dynamic Forms.
2. Click Create Bundled Field.

3. Enter Field name and Description.
4. Click Create field.

5. Choose the screens to link the created field to.
6. Click Update.

7. Select one of the subfield types:

• Checkboxes
• Date
• Date time with time zone support
• Multi select
• Number
• Paragraph
• Radio buttons
• Separator
• Short text
• Single select
• Time
• User picker

8. Click on a subfield.
9. Adjust the subfield as needed.
10. Click Save to apply configuration.

Results

You can use created Bundled Field on your forms. You can’s apply any rules, but you can choose it’s location on the form. To learn how to do this, see Manage fields.

Edit Bundled Fields

You can edit the Bundled Field you created in Jira admin settings.

Steps

1. Click the cog icon.
2. Click Work items in Jira admin settings.
3. Click Fields.

4. Find the Bundled Field you created.
5. Click … to open actions.
6. Click Contexts and default values.

7. The configuration opens in a new window. Click Edit custom field config.

8. Edit Bundled Field.
9. Click Save.

Results

The Bundled Field has been successfully edited and saved.
