Dynamic Forms in team-managed projects

Tip

This chapter applies only to team-managed projects.

Configure issue types

Learn how to configure the Dynamic Forms application in team-managed projects.

In team-managed projects, the Dynamic Forms app is used to configure issue types.

Tip

Rules can be saved by the project administrator in team-managed projects.

Steps

  1. Click Dynamic Forms in the project sidebar.
  2. Turn the toggle on next to the issue types you want to configure.
  3. Click the cog icon to start the configuration.

  1. Choose a field from the list.
  2. Click + Add new rule for the chosen field.

Note

Rules are applied from top to bottom so if any rule is matched, then next rules in the hierarchy won’t be applied.

  1. Define a name for the rule.
  2. Click + Add new action and select an action from the list.

  1. Click + Add condition block to set conditions that trigger the action.

Each condition has its own editing tools. You can reorder rules and conditions or delete them.

  1. Save changes.
Tip

All conditions that aren’t saved are marked as Draft (next to the field’s name).

You can:

  • use the Save button assigned to each field’s condition configuration.

  • save changes in bulk by clicking Apply Changes (above the list of fields).

Result

Configuration of the issue type has been created.

Manage fields

You can manage fields for a specific issue type. For example, you can add fields, delete them, or change their order.

Steps

  1. Click Task configuration.

Result

You have configured an issue type, which you can further customize using Dynamic Forms.
