Presets

A preset is a set of rules and actions created in global configuration that you can reuse for multiple screen schemes.

The main benefit of this feature is that it saves time as there’s no need to configure each screen scheme separately from scratch. You can use a common configuration for multiple screen schemes.

To enable presets you need to create one first in global configuration.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Dynamic Forms in the space sidebar and click More action.

  2. Click App settings.

  5. Name your preset and click Save.

  6. Add rules that you need as you would in a space configuration and click Save.

  7. Your preset is now ready to use in a screen scheme.

Warning

Make sure the screen scheme in a space you want to apply the preset matches the original preset screen scheme.

  1. Navigate to Space settings.
  2. Navigate to Apps > Dynamic Forms and click Create & View screens.
  3. Enable work types.
  4. Click Configure rules.
  5. Select Use global preset and Choose preset from the list. If there’s no Dynamic Forms configuration for this scheme you can select a preset here. Otherwise you can change it in the options in the next steps.
  6. Expand Options and click Configuration type.
  7. Select a preset you want to use.

Results

The preset has been applied to the screen scheme.

Tip

Preset rules can only be edited in global configuration.

To delete a preset, expand Options, navigate to Preset details and click Delete preset.
