Create demo space (project)

If you use Dynamic Forms for the first time or need help understanding how the application works, consider creating a demo space (project). You’ll receive a new space (project) with an example configuration of rules.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Apps > Dynamic Forms.
  2. Click Check demo.

  1. Once the space (project) is successfully created, click Go to configuration.

  2. The screen schemes configuration opens in a new tab.

  3. Select for which work (issue) types the configuration will be available. By default, all work (issue) types are enabled. If you want to disable the configuration for some work (issue) types drag and drop them into the Disabled configuration area.

  4. Click Configure rules.

  5. This sample configuration applies rules to two fields:

  • Description - set values name, position, and department, when summary contains onboarding.
  • Priority - set value highest when description contains manager and set value lowest without conditions.
  1. To see how the rules apply, create a work item and, for example, enter ‘onboarding’ in the Summary field. This triggers a form with a description to complete.

Result

You have created a new space (project) with a sample rule configuration.
