Space Configuration
Understand how to configure Bundled Fields for a particular space.
As a space administrator, you can decide about Bundled Fields which are displayed in requests to your Customer Portal users.
It’s possible to add bundles to work types in your space so that they’re assigned to the related request types and used in requests on the Customer Portal.

Adding bundles to request types
To add Bundled Fields to request types from a selected space, after creating and configuring your bundle with the use of Global configuration, assign your bundle to the selected space and its request types by using Issue view extension available in Space settings.
Note
- Before you start configuring, log in as a user with Jira Administrators space permissions. For more information, see Atlassian documentation.
- In Jira, Issue view has been renamed to Work item view. This documentation may use either term but they refer to the same functionality.
Steps
- Go to Space settings > Apps > Extension for Jira Service Management > Issue view extension.
- Click on the bundle you wish to configure.
- Turn on the toggle to add your bundle to the selected work item type.
Note
- Bundled Fields added to the work type with assigned request types will be visible in Work item view and displayed as a part of the Customer form fields section.
- Bundled Fields added to the work type with no assigned request types will be visible in Work item view and displayed as a part of the Additional fields section.
- Select request types for which you wish to add your bundle.
Tip
Once your bundle is assigned to the particular request type, you can perform additional actions:
- Click Edit form next to the request type name to navigate to Space settings > Apps > Extension for Jira Service Management > Customer form extension for that request type.
- Click Customer Portal to see how your bundle will be displayed on the Customer Portal.
- As a Jira administrator, you can click Configure to go to the global configuration of the selected bundle.
Result
Your bundle is added to the selected request type. It will be included in the related request form visible on the Customer Portal.
Info
Bundled Fields are displayed as the last items included in request forms.
