Dynamic Fields in team-managed spaces

Learn how to use Dynamic Fields in team-managed spaces.

The important difference between company and team-managed spaces is that in team-managed spaces, there is no configuration of screens and all the fields can be directly assigned to each request type. Moreover, in team-managed spaces, it is only possible to create new fields while custom fields already existing in Jira can’t be used. However, your previously created Dynamic Fields can be still be accessed through spacesettings.

For more information about fields configuration in team-managed spaces, see Atlassian documentation.

Info

Due to ongoing platform improvements, certain views presented in documentation may not fully reflect the latest in-app changes. We’re actively updating our content to match the new experience.

Adding Dynamic Fields to request types

You can use both the existing fields in the request type and your already created Bundled Fields to make them available as Dynamic Fields.

Adding existing fields as Dynamic Fields

Info

In team-managed spaces, only new fields created directly in a request type can be used as Dynamic Fields due to current Jira Cloud limitations. The fields configured globally aren’t supported. Moreover, the Attachments and Description fields can’t be added to a Dynamic Form at this time.
