Learn how to customize Request Details View to display Assets.
With Extension for Jira Service Management you can display Assets related to a request in Request Details View and allow your Customer Portal users to benefit from additional information about Assets mentioned in their requests right away.
This feature is available in the Advanced edition of the app.

To display additional information in Request Details View configure the Show fields settings in the app by adding the Assets objects field for the request types of your choice.
The functionalities related to Assets are available only to the users of Jira Service Management Premium Plan.
To set configuration and display Assets in Request Details View, follow the below steps.
Before adding the Assets objects custom field in the Request details extension configuration, make sure you’re using Jira Service Management Premium Plan. Next, establish your connection with Assets API. To learn about Assets API, navigate to the Connect to Assets API section.
The Assets objects field is configured for the selected request types. Your Customer Portal users can display data related to Assets in Request Details View.
