Mapping duplication

Learn how to duplicate your mapping

In case if you want to create a mapping similar to already existing one, without having to configure it from scratch, you can create an exact 1:1 copy of already existing mapping.

Such mapping can be edited later on, to fit your needs.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Jira Settings > Apps.
  2. Click Synchronizations under Issue Sync Pro section.

  3. Click Next on an already existing synchronization.

  4. Click Duplicate on a mapping you wish to duplicate.

You will be brought to the mapping creation screen.

  1. Provide changes of your liking (or leave the configuration as it is), and click Create.

Warning

Saving the copied mapping without applying any changes will result in creation of a duplicated mapping, which means that the synchronization will be executed twice. A warning will be displayed, when all - the project, issue type and JQL query will remain unchanged in the configuration.

Results

The copied mapping has been created.
