Learn how to map workflow transitions.
Issue Sync Pro allows you to synchronize status changes of your Jira issues, between connected projects.
It means that a status change in one of the synchronized issues might trigger a corresponding transition in the other.
This option is enabled by default.
Keep in mind, that workflow transitions mapping in team-managed type projects is available only for users, who upgraded their Issue Sync Pro license to a paid license
When creating a new mapping
Add all button adds all transitions on both projects. Transitions between statuses with the same name are mapped first, and if there are no overlapping statuses on one and the other project, transitions are mapped randomly (first in order). If there are more transitions on the first project than in the other, these will be added with an empty mapping.
You can change the order of configured status transitions (up, or down) by grabbing and dragging the status tile. This does not affect the synchronization direction or the pair of synchronized transitions.
Status transitions have been added to your mapping. Now, by executing one of mapped transitions on an issue, Issue Sync will execute configured transition on the other project.
When editing an already existing mapping.
See Editing mapping to learn how to edit an existing mapping.
During mapping edition, in the Status transitions section, select the transitions you want to perform on your Jira.
Choose synchronization direction.
Select transition that will be performed on partner’s project.
Optionally: Click +Add to include additional pair of transitions, or +Add all to include all possible transitions.
Click Save changes

Users with their license upgraded to a paid version can click Show workflow diagrams to display workflow diagrams on the go, without having to open them on a separate page.
In case you see the Show diagrams hyperlink instead of Show workflow diagrams button, navigate to respective workflow, edit and save it, then reload the Issue Sync Pro configuration page.
To hide opened diagram, click Hide workflow diagrams:
