First steps

Learn your way around My Requests Extension right after installation.

Warning

Before you start, log in as a user with the Jira Administrators global permission.

Once you’ve installed the app, you need to access its configuration panel. From there you can change all the settings and permissions to fully customize your Requests page.

Accessing configuration

Steps

  1. Go to Jira admin settings > Marketplace apps.
  2. Select Get started under My Requests Extension section.
  3. Start with Configure settings. Alternatively, you can go to Configuration visible on the sidebar.

Result

You’re redirected to the configuration view.

Overview

The configuration panel is the main view where you can customize Requests page, adjust relevant permissions and manage the app settings.
