Filtering issues

This chapter provides information about filtering issues in the Queue view.

Note

To filter issues, you can use the default filters or add new ones.

Adding filters

To add filters:

Steps

  1. Click the Manage filters icon.
  2. Find the necessary filter by scrolling or typing its name.
  3. Choose the filter by checking its checkbox.
Note

The Status and Assignee filters with the All value are set as default filters. For instructions on changing their values, go to Configuring filters. To reset or remove them, navigate to Resetting and removing filters.

Result

The new filter is added.

Configuring filters

To configure a filter:

Steps

  1. Add a filter (if necessary).
  2. Click directly on the filter’s button.
  3. Find the necessary value by scrolling or typing its name.
  4. Choose the value by checking its checkbox.
  5. If you want to remove unwanted values, use the Clear selection button for all or uncheck individual checkboxes.
Note
  • When you configure at least one filter in the particular queue, a filter icon appears next to this queue on the Queues for Jira & JSM panel, allowing you to quickly identify queues using filters.
  • With Date filters, click the filter button directly, pick the desired option, fill out the necessary data, and click Update.

Result

The filter is configured.

Resetting and removing filters

The Queues for Jira & JSM app allows you to reset or remove filters based on your preferences.

Reset filters

To reset filters and bring them to their default state, click the Reset button, which becomes visible after configuring at least one filter.

Note

After clicking the Reset button, all the filters return to their default state, with the Status and Assignee filters visible and set to the All value. The Reset button disappears after this action.

Remove filters

To remove undesired filters, click the Manage filters button, then uncheck individual checkboxes or use Clear selection to remove them all at once.
