Import queues
This section provides information on how to import queues from other project and JSON file.
Note
Before you start, log in as a user with the Jira Administrators global permission or make sure you have a permission to configure queues. What’s more, to import queues you must be a user with Jira Service agent access global permissions.
The Import option allows you to add queues configuration from other Service project or replace whole configuration with the one saved in JSON file.
Steps
To import queues:
- Click + Add button on the top Queues panel.
- Select Import queues.
The Import Service Queues dialog appears. - Select:
a. Import from project - to import native queues from other Service Management project. Check the box with target queue or Select all queues.
b. Import from JSON file - to upload queues from JSON file. - Click Import.
Result
Selected queues are imported and visible on the list.
Note
Queues can be edited at any time, and it won’t affect the primary queue.
