Queues for Jira & JSM are designed to improve ticket resolution time and gain customers’ trust. Two app versions are available, aligning with your organization’s preferred hosting strategy. Each version delivers the same business value, design, and usage. There is only one difference in features between the two hostings. The Cloud version offers the Preview issue in modal feature that is unavailable on the Data Center due to technical limitations.
This section outlines the current differences between Cloud and Data Center hosting types. Queues for Jira & JSM provides roughly the same set of versatile features both for DC and Cloud. Therefore, you can choose the hosting that best suits your company without worrying about potential loss of Queues for Jira & JSM functionalities.

Before you start your migration, ensure you have two licenses, one for the Data Center and one for the Cloud version.
Currently, there is no direct migration path for app data and configurations from Data Center to Cloud. However, both Queues for Jira & JSM DC and Cloud offer the Export of queues to a JSON file and Import from a JSON file. Importing and exporting features can be used to migrate data from DC to Cloud.
Users, groups, and columns that don’t exist in the target instance are omitted during the migration.
