Requirement Coverage

This chapter provides information on how to use coverage.

The Requirement Coverage Report gives you possibility to track whether the requirements are already covered or uncovered by Test Cases, Test Plans, Test Executions, Test Case Executions and Defects for a given: Project, Issue type, Fix version, Component, RTM Environment and Assignee.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Jira > Test Management.
  2. In Reports section, click Coverage.
  3. Select:
    • Project
    • Issue type
    • Fix version
    • Component
    • RTM Environment
    • Assignee
  4. Click Generate.

Result

Requirement Coverage Report has been created. Now you can filter covered and/or uncovered requirements.

Tip
To quickly navigate to the Requirement, Test Plan, Test Execution, Test Case Execution or Defect simply click on the issue key.

Note
You can export Requirements Coverage Report to .csv or .pdf file. Click on target Export file format. Downloading starts automatically.

Tip

You can choose which fields will be displayed in report: Assignee, Components, Fix Versions, RTM Environment, Status, Result. Simply click on Preferences icon (near Export PDF and Export CSV) and choose fields in Configuration Issue Card.
