Create a company-managed project for RTM app
This chapter provides information on how to create a company-managed project in Jira.
There are two types of projects provided by Jira: team-managed and company-managed (formerly next-gen and classic). Even though the core functionalities works the same for both types, RTM app integrates only with company-managed projects.
Steps
To create a classic project for the Requirements and Test Management for Jira app:
-
Choose template for your project.
NoteMake sure your template supports company-managed projects. Learn more about Templates here. -
Click Use as a template.
-
Enter a project Name and Key.
NoteIn this dialog you can also Change template and Connect work across your tools. Read more about this feature in official Atlassian documentation. -
Click Create.
Result
Company-managed project has been created. Now, you can navigate to First steps and start configuring RTM app.
