Before you start using RTM, it’s mandatory to:
- Add RTM issue types to project.
- Add fields to the screen.
There are two buttons, which help you to get to Jira global settings: Issue Type Settings and Screen Settings.
When issue types and fields are added, you can enable Requirements and Test Management app by clicking on Start Adventure.
When issue types and fields are added, you can start configuring Test Module in Project settings > Tests configuration section.
You can define name, number and size of columns in Steps columns view.
Steps statuses is a read-only section. It provides information about default steps statuses and colors.
In Tree Structure section, you can decide how your objects will be displayed on the tree:
- Switch Issue Keys toggle to on to show Issue Keys on tree.
- Check the target object (Requirements, Test Cases, Test Plans, Test Executions, Defects) to enable Autonumerating on the tree for issues and folders.
After enabling Requirements and Test Management app in your project, a Test Management section is available on the project view.
Click on one of them to read a guide.
