Traceability

This chapter provides information on how to use traceability.

Traceability matrix presents correlation between any two baselined requirement types using many-to-many relationship comparison. You can define which types of links will be displayed in traceability matrix.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Jira > Test Management.
  2. In Reports section, click Traceability.
  3. Choose Projects.
    Note
    Select RTM project from drop down list or use Advanced to search for another test repository project.

  4. Choose types of requirements X-axis (columns) and Y-axis (rows).

Result

You can export Traceability matrix to .csv or .pdf file. Click on Export icon in the upper right corner of page and click select file format. Downloading starts automatically.
