Introduction
Theme Extension provides a wide variety of possible designs and customizations that you can apply to as many projects as you like.
In order to fully utilize the app’s potential, learn about the two fundamental elements of customization:
- Pages - customizable environments which replace the conventional Customer Portal and Help Center. Pages display selected service projects along with their request types.
- Templates - independent designs stored in a Templates library which can be customized and applied to Pages.
The app enables you to take a break from using the native Jira portals and embrace an entirely new service management experience. By creating Pages, you can customize the design and adjust the content that is displayed to users, so they can enjoy a personalized experience while interacting with your brand.
Accessing configuration
Before you start, log in as a user with Jira Administrators global permissions. For more information, see Atlassian documentation.
Steps
- Go to the Manage apps screen.
- Click Get Started under the Theme Extension for Jira Service Management section.
- Click Configuration.
Alternatively
- Click Apps in the Top navigation bar.
- Select Theme Extension from the drop-down list.
- Click Configuration.
Result
You’ve accessed the configuration panel.
Theme Extension provides you with a handy configuration panel which opens in a separate tab allowing you to unleash your creativity and satisfy the needs of your customers by using the app features presented on a single view.
