Only User From AD condition
Active Directory Attributes Sync app provides additional condition named Only User From AD. This condition allows only user selected from Active Directory to execute a transition.
For information on adding a condition to a workflow’s transition, see Adding a condition.
Before you start, log in as a user with the Jira Administrators global permission.
Adding condition
Steps
To add the Only User From AD condition:
- Select the workflow you’d like to update and click Edit.
- Go to the Diagram view and click on the chosen transition.
- Select Conditions from the right-hand side menu.
- Click Add condition.
- Select Deviniti [Active Directory Attributes Sync] - Only User From AD condition.
- Click Add.
- Select a User.
- Decide if you’d like to disable this condition when the selected user doesn’t exist in AD.
- Click Add.
Result
The Only User From AD condition is added to the selected workflow.

Updating condition
Steps
To update the Only User From AD condition:
- Go to Workflow > Conditions.
- Select the Edit next to the Deviniti [Active Directory Attributes Sync] - Only User From AD condition.
- Edit parameters for the condition.
- Click Update.
Result
The Only User From AD condition is updated.
Removing condition
Steps
To remove the Only User From AD condition:
- Go to Workflow > Conditions.
- Click Delete next to the Deviniti [Active Directory Attributes Sync] - Only User From AD condition.
Result
The Only User From AD condition is removed.
