Electronic Signature validator

Discover the Electronic Signature workflow validator

Before you start, log in as a user with the Jira Administrators global permission.

Electronic Signature provides a workflow validator for checking if all or any required signatures have been given at a certain issue transition. It has two types:

  • Any signed - validating if any of the required signatures has been given
  • Each signed - validating if all the required signatures have been given

Add Electronic Signature validator

Steps

To add the Electronic Signature validator project’s workflow:

  1. Go to Project settings > Workflows.
  2. Select the workflow and go to Diagram > Edit.
  3. Click on the transition of your choice and go to Validators.
  4. Click Add validator.
  5. Select Electronic Signature Validator.
  6. Click Add.

  7. Select one of the validator’s types:
    • Any signed (default)
    • Each signed
  8. Click Add.

  9. Remember to Publish the changes.

Result

The Electronic Signature validator is added to the workflow.
