Customer Portal visibility
Learn how to define users who can access Customer Portal.
Configuration
The Customer Portal tab of the Visibility configuration allows you to choose the groups of users who can access your project’s Customer Portal.
By default, the Customer Portal related to your project is visible to all users. To limit its visibility, follow the below steps.
Steps
- Choose Projects from the main navigation bar.
- Choose the service project you want to configure.
- Navigate to Project settings > Visibility in the Extension for Jira Service Management section.
- Go to the Customer Portal tab.
- Select user group(s) which can access the Customer Portal related to your project.
You can add a new group of users by accessing Jira Administration > User management > Groups. Once you access the configuration, enter a name for your new group and click Add.
Result
Your configuration of the Customer Portal visibility is added. The users who don’t belong to the selected user group won’t access Customer Portal.
