Hiding Remove Participants
Learn how to restrict the removing participants option from selected request types.
Extension for Jira Service Management enables you to hide the Remove option which relates to request participants and is displayed in the Shared with section of Request Details View. You can select request types for which removing participants shouldn’t be available.
Restricting access to remove participants
To set the feature configuration and make the Remove option invisible for the users of your Customer Portal, follow the below steps.
Steps
- Choose Projects from the main navigation bar.
- Select the service project you want to configure.
- From service project sidebar, select Project settings > General in the Extension for Jira Service Management section.
- Navigate to Restrict access to remove participants.
- Select request types for which removing participants shouldn’t be possible.
You can quickly hide the remove participants option for all request types in your project by using the Select all option.
Result
The Remove option is hidden for the selected request types and the users of your portal can’t access it in Request Details View.
To make the Remove option visible, delete the selected request types from the Restrict access to remove participants configuration with the Cross icon that appears next to every request type. Also, you can quickly delete all introduced request types with Deselect all.
By deselecting all request types you will make the Remove option visible. It will be displayed for request participants in the Request Details View.
