General Configuration

Learn how to configure the basic aspects of the app

Warning

Before you start, log in as a user with the Jira Administrators global permission.

General Configuration section contains all the main settings and preferences regarding the app’ basic functionalities:

  • Access - enables for restricting access to the Requests page
  • Requests links - for specifying behaviour, name and translations of the Requests link
  • Approvals links - for specifying behaviour, name and translations of the Approvals link
  • Export - enables for configuring exporting options
  • Table settings - where you can decide on displaying the tips on the Requests page

In order to access the features above, go to the app’s configuration first.

Steps

  1. From the top navigation bar, choose Jira Administration > Manage apps.
  2. On the left sidebar, scroll down to My Requests Extension and select General Configuration.
