General Configuration

Learn how to configure the basic aspects of the app

Warning

Before you start, log in as a user with Jira Administrators global permissions. For more information, see Atlassian documentation.

General Configuration section contains all the main settings and preferences regarding the app’ basic functionalities:

  • Visibility - enables for restricting access to the Requests page
  • Requests - for specifying behaviour, name and translations of the Requests link
  • Approvals - for specifying behaviour, name and translations of the Approvals link
  • Export - enables for configuring exporting options

In order to access the features above, go to the app’s configuration first.

Steps

  1. From the top navigation bar, choose Jira Administration > Manage apps.
  2. On the left sidebar, select Scopes under My Requests Extension section.

Tip

You can always check how your configuration affects the Requests page by clicking Go to Requests page.
