User Locking

This section lets you configure rules for locking user accounts.

In the User Locking section, you can:

  1. customize the notifier for users that their account is blocked by pasting HTML.
  2. enable user account locking. This setting overwrites the more specific account locking options.
  3. lock user accounts after password expiration.
  4. specify how many days a user has to change their password after it expires.
  5. specify a period of time after which selected user accounts are locked.
  6. exclude groups of users from account locking policies. Group password policies overwrite single user password policies.
