Bulk change queues

This chapter provides information on how to bulk change many queues at once.

Warning

Before you start, log in as a user with the Jira Administrators global permission or make sure you have a permission to configure queues.

With Bulk change queues, you can perform certain operations on multiple queues simultaneously across the entire Queues for Jira & JSM app. There are two operations you can take:

  • Visible to, where you can adjust queues’ visibility.
  • Columns, where you can modify columns that are visible in the queues’ table with issues.
Note

You can read more about Visible to and Columns in the Configuring queues chapter.

Below is a live demo of the actions mentioned above. Additionally, you can review each action in more detail by following the steps described below.

Steps

To bulk change queues:

  1. Click the Three dots menu at the top of the Queues for Jira & JSM panel.
  2. Select Bulk change queues.

The Bulk change queues dialog appears.

  1. Choose the queues on which you want to perform bulk change operations and then go to the next step.
Note
  • If you want to choose all queues, click Select all.
When you select at least one queue, the button Deselect all appears, allowing you to deselect all queues at once.
  • Clicking the checkbox next to the group or subgroup name will automatically select all the queues within it. However, all operations will only affect queues, not these groups or subgroups.
