Configuration Manager for Jira
Configuration Manager for Jira is a powerful app that allows you to manage configuration changes conveniently and transfer them between different Jira instances automatically. In case you need a change in the production environment, you can easily test the change in the test environment first using TestFLO, and then, after it is accepted, transfer the change to the production environment automatically using Configuration Manager. This avoids mistakes that could happen if you move the change to production manually.
These changes may also apply to TestFLO’s configuration and data. TestFLO integration with Configuration Manager for Jira will help you modify your test management process and safely move the accepted modifications to the production environment.
Thanks to this integration, you can automate an essential part of the change management and test management process.
TestFLO supports integration with Configuration Manager for Jira version 6.7.0 and higher.
Common use cases
Change management
Thanks to the integration with Configuration Manager, TestFLO is the only test management that allows for proper change management in your test processes. Changes can be automatically moved to your production Jira, after being approved in a test Jira environment.
Find more details about this case at the Test - Staging - Production page.
Project Template
If you frequently create projects and need to complete the same configuration, you can create a project snapshot with TestFLO configuration as a template to save time for reconfiguration. Then recreate it as many times as you need.
Read how to use this case at the Project Template page.
Update an existing project configuration
When you make changes to the TestFLO configuration in one of the existing projects, you can also transfer it to another existing project in the Jira instance.
For more examples of Use Cases, visit the Configuration Manager documentation.
