Master Test Plan

In this chapter you will learn what the Master Test Plan is and how to use it.

Master Test Plan is an issue type that allows you to group the process of testing Test Plans into a larger object. This allows you to test a larger area of software that would be difficult and too complicated to test in a single Test Plan.

Overview

There are three areas specific to the Master Test Plan:

  1. MTP Progress - presents the progress of testing Test Plans in the area of the whole Master Test Plans.
  2. Test Plans - Here you will find all Test Plans that are included in the Master Test Plan, whether linked or created directly from this view. You can modify the table if you click Columns.
  3. Actions - operations that can be performed for the Master Test Plan.
