Default card style

This section provides information on configuring card types and styles.

Set a card type

Steps

To set configuration:

  1. Choose Projects at the top of the screen.
  2. Choose the service desk project you want to configure.
  3. From service desk project sidebar, select Project settings > Configuration in the Theme Extension section.

    You can also configure the appearance of your portal going directly to Customer Portal:
    Go to Customer channels > click Visit the portal or copy and paste a link into a browser address bar.

  4. Go to Select theme and click Cards.
  5. Click Next.

  6. The Apply theme style dialog box appears.
  7. Choose one of them and click Apply.

  8. Click Default card style on the left side, below request types groups view.

  9. The Default card dialog box appears.
  10. Select card type and click Apply.

    Note
    Created layout applies to the whole portal. You can’t set different layouts for various request types.
    Info

    Names of cards - Horizon Line, Event Horizon, Full Moon, Aurora, Nebula and Exomoon - come from physics and astronomy.

Result

Selected card type is added.

Note

You can change card type anytime you want, even after configuring your default cards.

Set a card style

Steps

To set configuration:

  1. Choose Projects at the top of the screen.
  2. Choose the service desk project you want to configure.
  3. From service desk project sidebar, select Project settings > Configuration in the Theme Extension section.
  4. Go to Select theme and click Cards.
  5. Click Next.
  6. The Apply theme style dialog box appears.
  7. Choose one of them and click Apply.

  8. Click Default card style on the left side, below request types groups view.

  9. The Default card dialog box appears.
  10. Go to Card style > Graphics.
  11. Click Drop file to attach, or browse and upload the image.

    Note
    • This app supports images in the .jpg, .png and .gif formats.
    • Click Show recent uploads to see recently added graphic.
    • Click Delete to remove added graphic.

  12. Go to Image position and select one option below.

  13. Go to Select background color.
    You have four options:
    1. Set a color manually.
      • Select a color range.
      • Pick a color from the canvas.
      • Select an opacity value.
    2. Enter the HEX color code.

    3. Enter the RGBA color code.

    4. Enter the HSLA color code.

  14. Go to Text > Card title.

    You have four options:
    1. Set a color manually.
      • Select a color range.
      • Pick a color from the canvas.
      • Select an opacity value.
    2. Enter the HEX color code.
    3. Enter the RGBA color code.
    4. Enter the HSLA color code.
  15. Choose the font style: regular, oblique or bold.

  16. Go to Card description.
    You have four options:
    1. Set a color manually.
      • Select a color range.
      • Pick a color from the canvas.
      • Select an opacity value.

    4. Enter the HSLA color code.
  17. Choose the font style: regular, oblique or bold.

  18. Go to Select background color.

  19. Click Apply.

Result

A new card style configuration is added.

Info

Remember, you have to click Publish in Edit mode at the top of the screen on the right side to see applied changes on the Customer Portal.
