Edit card style

This section provides information on configuring a card style appearance.

Now you can change the appearance of your request types. Each request type is a card which you can configure in a different way.

Steps

To set configuration:

  1. Choose Projects at the top of the screen.
  2. Choose the service desk project you want to configure.
  3. From service desk project sidebar, select Project settings > Configuration in the Theme Extension section.

    You can also configure the appearance of your portal going directly to Customer Portal:
    Go to Customer channels > click Visit the portal or copy and paste a link into a browser address bar.


  4. Go to Select theme and click Cards.
  5. Click Next.

  6. The Apply theme style dialog box appears.
  7. Choose one of them and click Apply.

  8. Click on a card you want to configure.

  9. The Edit card style dialog box appears.
  10. Go to Graphics.
  11. Click Drop file to attach, or browse and upload the image.

    Note
    • Set the state of switch to on to customize card image style.
    • This app supports images in the .jpg, .png and .gif formats.
    • Click Show recent uploads to see recently added graphic.
    • To remove the added graphic, click Delete on the right side.

  12. Go to Image position and select one option below.

  13. Go to Select background color.
    You have four options:
    1. Set a color manually.
      • Select a color range.
      • Pick a color from the canvas.
      • Select an opacity value.
    2. Enter the HEX color code.

    3. Enter the RGBA color code.

    4. Enter the HSLA color code.

  14. Go to Text.
    Note
    • Set the state of switch to on to customize card text style.

  15. Go to Card title and set the color.
    You have four options:
    1. Set a color manually.
      • Select a color range.
      • Pick a color from the canvas.
      • Select an opacity value.
    2. Enter the HEX color code.
    3. Enter the RGBA color code.
    4. Enter the HSLA color code.
  16. Choose the font style: regular, oblique or bold.

  17. Go to Card description.
    You have four options:
    1. Set a color manually.
      • Select a color range.
      • Pick a color from the canvas.
      • Select an opacity value.
    2. Enter the HEX color code.
    3. Enter the RGBA color code.
    4. Enter the HSLA color code.
  18. Choose the font style: regular, oblique or bold.
  19. Go to Select background color.
    You have four options:
    1. Set a color manually.
      • Select a color range.
      • Pick a color from the canvas.
      • Select an opacity value.
    2. Enter the HEX color code.
    3. Enter the RGBA color code.
    4. Enter the HSLA color code.
  20. Click Apply.
Note
  • Use drag-and-drop to re-order cards.
  • Remember, if you change here the order of displaying cards, it doesn’t apply to order of request types in service desk project (Project Settings > Request Types).
  • A change of theme style results in loss of cards order set by drag-and-drop because it isn’t saving.

Result

A new card style configuration is added.

Remember, you have to click Publish in Edit mode at the top of the screen on the right side to see applied changes on the Customer Portal.
