Navigation bar

This section provides information on configuring a way of displaying request types groups.

Steps

To set configuration:

  1. Choose Projects at the top of the screen.
  2. Choose the service desk project you want to configure.
  3. From service desk project sidebar, select Project settings > Configuration in the Theme Extension section.

    You can also configure the appearance of your portal going directly to Customer Portal:
    Go to Customer channels > click Visit the portal or copy and paste a link into a browser address bar.


  4. Go to Select theme and click Cards.
  5. Click Next.

  6. The Apply theme style dialog box appears.
  7. Choose one of them and click Apply.

  8. Click on navigation bar below the search bar.

  9. The Edit navigation bar dialog box appears.
  10. Go to Display type and select the way of displaying groups: tabs or drop-down list.
    Note

    The order of displaying request types groups in tabs and drop-down list is based on project settings (Project Settings > Request types).

  11. Go to Display style > Default group text color.
    You have four options:
    1. Set a color manually.
      • Select a color range.
      • Pick a color from the canvas.
      • Select an opacity value.
    2. Enter the HEX color code.

    3. Enter the RGBA color code.

    4. Enter the HSLA color code.

  12. Go to Hover group text color.
    You have four options:
    1. Set a color manually.
      • Select a color range.
      • Pick a color from the canvas.
      • Select an opacity value.
    2. Enter the HEX color code.
    3. Enter the RGBA color code.
    4. Enter the HSLA color code.
  13. Go to Selected groups text color.
    You have four options:
    1. Set a color manually.
      • Select a color range.
      • Pick a color from the canvas.
      • Select an opacity value.
    2. Enter the HEX color code.
    3. Enter the RGBA color code.
    4. Enter the HSLA color code.
      Note
      If you want, click Underline selected group.

  14. Click Apply.

Result

A new configuration is added.

    Note
    If you have many request types groups, some of them are located in drop-down list as More.

Info

Remember, you have to click Publish in Edit mode at the top of the screen on the right side to see applied changes on the Customer Portal.
