Theme style

This section provides information on configuring a theme style of your portal.

Select a theme

Steps

To set configuration:

  1. Choose Projects at the top of the screen.
  2. Choose the service desk project you want to configure.
  3. From service desk project sidebar, select Project settings > Configuration in the Theme Extension section.

    You can also configure the appearance of your portal going directly to Customer Portal:
    Go to Customer channels > click Visit the portal or copy and paste a link into a browser address bar.

  4. Go to Select theme and click Cards.

    Click Preview to see a current view.


  5. Click Next.

  6. The Apply theme style dialog box appears.
  7. Choose one of them and click Apply.

Result

Selected theme is added.

Create a new theme style

Steps

To set configuration:

  1. Choose Projects at the top of the screen.
  2. Choose the service desk project you want to configure.
  3. From service desk project sidebar, select Project settings > Configuration in the Theme Extension section.
  4. Go to Select theme and click Cards.

    Click Preview to see a current view.


  5. Click Next.
  6. The Apply theme style dialog box appears.
  7. Click + Create new.

  8. A new template opens.
    Now you can set your own theme style configuration with Theme Extension for Jira Service Desk

  9. Set your own theme style configuration.

Result

Created theme style is added.

Note

If you created your own theme, but finally you want to set a default appearance, click Change theme in Edit mode at the top of the screen on the left side.

Info

Remember, you have to click Publish in Edit mode at the top of the screen on the right side to see applied changes on the Customer Portal.

Examples of theme styles

Info

Each card type is assigned to concrete theme style.

For example:
Theme style: Night sky.
Card type: Horizon Line.

If you want to change default settings, go to Default card style.
