Introduction to List
Theme Extension for Jira Service Desk lets you organize request types into a clear list.
With Theme Extension for Jira Service Desk, you can display request types as a list in your Help Center by applying a List theme. List is one of the three themes available with Theme Extension for Jira Service Desk, along with Cards and the default theme. List theme provides a transparent structure of request types, making it easier and faster to raise a request. You can customize carious aspects of a List theme to create a vibrant, visually appealing look and feel that best represents your brand.
To display your Help Center in a List theme:
- In your Service Desk project, go to Project settings > Configuration under Theme Extension.
Select the List theme and click Next. The Select theme style dialog box appears.
Select a theme style and click Next. The Edit theme style dialog box appears.
Edit the theme style as you wish. In the Edit theme style dialog box, you can:
- change the name of your theme.
- select up to 3 primary colors for the theme. Most Help Center UI elements will be generated with those colors.
NoteIf you wish to use only 1 color in your theme, select the Right panel background color and click Automatically assign #2 & #3 colors based on this color.
- configure which Help Center UI elements will be displayed in the Accent color.
Click Apply. The theme editor opens.InfoTheme editor displays your Help Center with the applied theme. Here, you can customize display of various Help Center elements, such as announcement banner. For more information, see Edit a List Theme.
To save a customized theme as a theme style to use it in the future, click Save as. The theme will be saved under the provided name.
To apply the displayed theme to your Help Center, click Publish.
The selected List theme is applied and published to your Help Center. To see it in your Help Center, click Visit the portal in the pop-up, or go to Customer channels > Visit the portal in your project.
