About

Dynamic Forms for Jira helps you simplify and optimize the issue management process by adapting forms dynamically based on user input. Instead of displaying long and overwhelming forms, users only see the fields that are relevant to their choices, which helps reduce errors and speeds up data entry.

If you’d like to be a part of Dynamic Forms project and suggest a new feature, contact us.

Key features

Here’s what you can do with Dynamic Forms for Jira:

Rules, actions, and conditions

The Dynamic fields allows you to create conditions upon which a field should be displayed after selecting an option in the previous field.

The procedure is very simple and based on one configuration page. You just need to:

  1. Select a screen scheme and issue type.
  2. Select a field.
  3. Add a rule.
  4. Add actions.
  5. Define conditions for fields.

For more details, see configuration.

Data storage

Dynamic Forms for Jira doesn’t have its own database. It uses Forge Storage so data is stored directly in Jira. Deviniti doesn’t have access to your stored data.

The app checks Jira configuration data:

  • Schemes
  • List of fields
  • User rights regarding fields and the create screen
