The field is set to mandatory with this action. It can be set as mandatory after filling specific conditions. It’s especially useful when connected with the visibility action, making sure that the fields that were revealed will be filled by the user.
Adding the conditions to the rules isn’t necessary.
This action is applied only on the create screen. If you need to set a field as required and use it on the issue view, use Jira native settings.
