Importing queues
This section provides information on how to import queues from other project and JSON file.
Before you start, log in as a user with the Jira Administrators global permission. What’s more, to import queues you must be a user with Jira Service agent access global permissions.
The Import option allows you to add queues configuration from other Service project or replace whole configuration with the one saved in JSON file.
Users, groups, and columns that don’t exist in the target instance are omitted during the import.
Steps
To import queues:
- Click + button on the top Queues for Jira & JSM panel.
- Select Import queues. The Import Service Queues dialog appears.
- Select:
a. Import from project - to import native queues from other Service Management project. Choose the desired project, then check the box with the target queue or Select all queues. b. Import from JSON file - to upload queues from JSON file. - Click Import.
Result
Selected queues are imported and visible on the list.
