Flagging issues
This chapter provides information on adding flags to important issues.
The feature is turned on by default unless modified by the admin. To turn it on or off and override any default or admin configurations, refer to the Personal preferences.
The Queues for JSM app allows you to add flags to important issues, making them easy to find later.
To add a flag to an issue, locate the desired issue within the Queue view and click the Flag icon labeled Add flag. You can flag multiple issues simultaneously, and your markings won’t reset after leaving the page.
You can sort issues by a flag column by clicking the column header. Keep in mind that the sorting resets after refreshing the page.
- To remove a flag from an issue, locate a desired issue within the Queue view and click the Flag icon labeled Remove flag (previously, Add flag).
- When you add flags to issues and then turn off the Flag issues preference, the flags maintain their status. So, if you turn the preference on again, the previously flagged issues remain flagged.
