Hiding queue

This chapter provides information about hiding queues.

Warning

The view with hidden queues is available only for logged-in users.

The Queues for JSM app allows users to hide unnecessary queues. The additional benefit is that hidden queues are not refreshed, so there’s less risk that your Jira will crash or slow down due to many queues refreshing simultaneously.

The hidden queues are collected in a dedicated Hidden group that users can access anytime.

Note

When you hide or unhide a queue, it changes its visibility only for you - other users within your project change queues’ visibility individually within their panels.

Steps

To hide a queue:

  1. Select the queue you wish to hide.
  2. Click the Hide queue for me icon in the upper right corner.

Result

The queue’s been hidden and is now placed in the dedicated Hidden group.

Note

To restore the queue’s visibility, select a queue and click the Show queue for me icon (previously, Hide queue for me). Your queue will return to its initial place.

Tip

If you want to add a hidden queue to the Favorites group, you need to unhide it first. Then, mark it as a favorite so it’s added to the Favorites group.
