Previewing issue in modal

This chapter provides information on opening an issue in a modal.

Note

The feature is turned on by default unless modified by the admin. To turn it on or off and override any default or admin configurations, refer to the Personal preferences.

The Preview issue in modal allows the issue to open in a modal, not throughout the page.

Steps

  1. In the Queue view, find the desired issue and click on Issue Type, Issue Key, or Summary.

Result

The preview of the issue is opened in the modal.

Tip

Clicking the right mouse button and selecting Open in new tab option opens the issue in a new tab, regardless of whether the Preview issue in modal is on or off.
