Quick guide for Jira Administrator

On this page, Jira Administrator will find instructions on how to enable and configure TestFLO in a few steps.

  1. Install TestFLO on your Jira instance.
  2. Decide with your Test Lead or Test Manager on your project organization.

  3. Enable TestFLO on existing or new projects using the given approach, or use the Getting Started page where you can enable TestFLO in three ways.

  4. Configure Jira permissions and assign the Project Administrator role to the person responsible for configuring project-level test management settings (tests lead, test manager, project manager, etc., depending on your organization).
  5. Inform the configured project administrators that they can find the TestFLO settings in Project Settings > Test Management.

  6. Optionally, configure Continuous Server Integration for triggering automated tests from TestFLO (Jenkins and Bamboo are supported).

    Note

    Contact your CI Server administrator to complete the configuration on the CI server side and inform your Test Lead or Test Manager that the CI Server is integrated.
