Learn about the app settings

By accessing the Settings section, you can easily set the global app configuration.

You can determine the settings concerning:

• Assets API configuration
• Data collection

Assets API configuration

By configuring Assets API, you can exploit the full potential of the Theme Extension for Jira Service Management app which is compatible with Assets.

To understand how to define the relevant app settings, go to the Assets API configuration section.

Data collection

By setting the data collection options, you can decide whether to become involved in the app development processes.

To learn about the anonymized usage statistics, navigate to the Data collection section.

What’s New

The What’s New option enables you to be up-to-date with the latest features that are available in the Theme Extension app.

As a Jira administrator, after every significant release, you can immediately check the list of new functionalities which have recently been added to the app. The What’s New alert is visible on the three dots menu which becomes marked with a violet spot once a new version of the app is released.

To access the What’s New section of the app click on the three dots menu and select the What’s New option.

You can learn about the new released features thanks to a brief description which presents most important facts about the app.

Note

The three dots menu appears globally that’s why you can quickly access the description of the latest features from several configuration sections of the app. Note that the What’s New alert is also visible once you open the Get Started page.
