First steps
Learn all the necessary steps to start using Assignment Rules for Jira
Warning
- Before you start, log in as a user with Jira Administrators global permissions. For more information, see Atlassian documentation.
- Since the app is able to update fields and is accessed by all the users, it requires granting certain permissions:
- View Jira issue data
- Create and manage issues
- View user profile
Steps
- Select Apps from the Jira top navigation bar, then click Manage apps.
- In the Jira apps view, select Assignment Rules for Jira from the panel on the left.
- On the main screen click Allow access.
- Scroll down and click Accept.
Result
Assignment Rules is authenticated and ready to set your first rules.
