Learn how to use the global app settings
By accessing the Global settings section, you can easily configure the app globally.
Due to ongoing platform improvements, certain views presented in documentation may not fully reflect the latest in-app changes. We’re actively updating our content to match the new experience.
The Anonymized usage statistics option allows you to have a part in shaping further app development. When the process of gathering anonymized data related to the user interaction with Extension for Jira Service Management is enabled, you can play a role in enhancing the product’s features and your users’ efficiency.
To learn more about data usage, read our Privacy policy and End-user license agreement.
To start configuring the app globally, you need to access the global configuration first.
Before you start, log in as a user with Jira Administrators space permissions. For more information, see Atlassian documentation.
You are redirected to the view with Global configuration where you can manage the settings concerning Data collection.
It’s possible to manage the data collection settings anytime. Managing the settings won’t influence the app performance.
By default, the toggle next to Enable data collection is turned on and the process of collecting data is enabled.
To disable collecting anonymized data, turn off the toggle next to Enable data collection.
